Safe Sleep Program

The Safe Sleep Program is an educational program for parents and families with infants under one year of age that strives to reduce the infant mortality rate in Indiana.

It promotes the ABCs of safe sleep practices such as placing the baby Alone, on their Backs, and in their own Crib. The program provides parents and caregivers with Pack-n-Plays and Infant Survival Kits for those who do not have a safe place for their baby to sleep.

How To Participate

Eligibility requirements include mothers within four weeks of the expected delivery date, or infants less than one year of age, parents/caregivers who do not have a safe place for the infant to sleep. The parent/caregiver must attend a safe sleep education session. There are no financial prerequisites for this program.
